Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (8:00–18:30)

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive swallow evaluations, including Modified Barium Swallow Examinations (MBSE)
Provide speech-language pathology services across assigned units, including ICU settings
Assess and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders
Document patient evaluations, progress, and treatment plans accurately within the electronic health record system
Float to other campus locations or units as needed based on patient care demands

Required Qualifications

Active California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in hand at time of submittal
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Demonstrated experience performing swallow evaluations including MBSE exams
Experience working in an ICU setting
EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months of work history

Preferred Experience / Skills

Tracheostomy (trach) patient management experience
1.5+ years of continuous experience in Speech-Language Pathology specialty
Travel healthcare experience, including at least 1 year total travel experience and 6+ months of continuous travel leading up to submittal
