Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Acute Rehabilitation Unit

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services within an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting
Evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient rehabilitation goals
Document patient progress and clinical findings accurately using facility EMR (Cerner)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation team members to coordinate patient care

Required Qualifications

Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in the state of Maine
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
Experience working in an acute care, rehabilitation, or hospital-based setting
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Preferred Experience / Skills

2 or more years of SLP clinical experience preferred
Prior experience working in an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU)
Familiarity with Cerner EMR platform
