As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Suffern, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and contribute to Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, and integrity-driven team culture.

Pay Rate: $17.50 - $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Help maintain an orderly environment by assisting with access control, visitor direction, and de-escalation of nonviolent situations when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
