Overview Remote Japanese/English Interpreter and Translator for a Global Automotive Company in Raymond, OH (Evening Shift). This position supports translation and interpretation during meetings to facilitate effective communication between Japanese and English-speaking stakeholders. The role involves delivering interpretation in daily meetings, translating documents, and providing support to ensure smooth collaboration. The assignment is remote with equipment provided. Responsibilities Convert spoken statements or written material from Japanese to English or English to Japanese in various settings. Translate documents accurately and quickly when needed. Interpretation may include listening, understanding, and communicating key concepts and information in Japanese and/or English. Translate documents accurately and quickly when necessary. Work irregular hours when required for the success of the project. Required Skillset Highly experienced in Japanese and English Interpreter and Translator; required in both directions: Japanese to English and English to Japanese. Fluent in verbal and written formats for both Japanese and English. Simultaneous interpretation is required. Bachelor’s Degree with a few years of Interpretation and Translation experience, and at least 5 years of interpretation experience in substitution of a degree. Both Japanese and English proficiency should be smooth and easy to understand.
