Design Intern

This is a remote position. Ready to join the future of design and learn agency style design 101? If you have a natural eye for design and fluency in design software we'd love to show you the ropes. You'll get to work directly with our management and design teams to help with real-world client deliverables, file prep, resizing, cropping and design adaptations across multiple design disciplines. The ideal candidate will possess skills and knowledge of graphic design (for print and digital), the Adobe Creative Suite, and social media. Candidates must be a student of Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or other related disciplines, and provide a design portfolio or website.

Requirements Responsibilities Learn about our homegrown advanced project management tool (The Hub) Work alongside the design team and assist them with client communication and final design delivery Refer to design briefs to interpret customer requests and create tangible products Conceptualize visuals based on requirements Engage in team collaboration and presentation of ideas Test graphics across various media Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and follow customer brand guidelines Draft mock-ups of design materials for the company portfolio Work on multiple projects at once, and be able to consistently meet deadlines Remain up to date on changing trends in the graphic design industry Assist the team with coordinating social media efforts to strengthen brand recognition

Qualifications Be an active student or recent graduate Ability to communicate ideas visually, orally, and in writing A natural eye for a well-crafted design Passion for all things design related Basic skills, principles, and general knowledge of graphic design overall Adobe Creative Suite experience required (1 year preferred) Experience with Sketch and/or Figma is a plus Excellent time management Creativity and problem-solving skills Sharp attention to detail Able to accurately articulate design theory Self-disciplined A strong team-work spirit Hand drawing and sketching ability are a plus

Benefits Compensation This is an unpaid internship, however, we also work with educational institutions to provide school credit and reporting. There are also opportunities for intern-to-hire roles within the organization.
