Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Basebuild Superintendent to support the construction of a large-scale semiconductor manufacturing facility in Manassas, Virginia. This individual will oversee field operations related to base building scope including structural, architectural, civil, envelope, and core/shell construction activities while coordinating closely with MEP, cleanroom, and tool install teams.

The ideal candidate will possess strong industrial or semiconductor construction experience with a proven ability to manage schedule, subcontractors, safety, and quality on complex fast-track projects.

Key Responsibilities:

•Lead day-to-day field operations for basebuild construction activities.

•Supervise subcontractors and coordinate sequencing across civil, structural, architectural, and CSA trades.

•Drive project schedule execution and maintain milestone commitments.

•Coordinate with project management, engineering, commissioning, and client teams.

•Ensure compliance with project safety standards, site-specific requirements, and OSHA regulations.

•Conduct daily field walks, safety meetings, and subcontractor coordination meetings.

•Identify and proactively resolve field conflicts, constructability issues, and schedule impacts.

•Monitor quality control and ensure work is completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and semiconductor facility standards.

•Support integration activities between basebuild, cleanroom construction, and tool installation scopes.

•Maintain detailed daily reports, Client tracking, and progress documentation.

•Assist with logistics planning, material coordination, and site access management.

•Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and collaboration across all site teams.

Required Qualifications:

•8+ years of construction superintendent experience on large industrial, mission critical, or semiconductor projects.

•Experience supporting semiconductor fabs, cleanrooms, advanced manufacturing, or high-tech facilities strongly preferred.

•Strong understanding of:

Basebuild / core & shell construction

Structural steel and concrete systems

Building envelope systems

CSA coordination

Industrial site logistics

•Proven experience managing subcontractors in fast-paced construction environments.

•Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schedules, and specifications.

•Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project preferred.

•OSHA 30 certification required.

•Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

•Ability to work extended hours and weekends as required by project schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

•Semiconductor fab construction experience.

•Experience working on Client, Micron, TSMC, GlobalFoundries, or similar advanced technology projects.

•Knowledge of cleanroom protocols and advanced manufacturing environments.

•Experience with Lean Construction and pull planning methodologies. xhyhwjd
